Not to be befuddled with the 1960s group the Defenders, Defender is a cloggy metal send forth of European bassist/guitarist Philip Von Segebaden. The fancy got underway in 1994, which was the year in which a dance orchestra that Von Segebaden had been a section of, Afflicted, bust up.
